In short

Church Setlist does not collect personal data. There is no account with us, no advertising, no analytics or tracking. Your songs, setlists, notes and settings are stored only on your iPad and are part of your normal iPad backup (iCloud or computer), managed by Apple or by you.

Planning services (ChurchTools, Planning Center)

Only when you connect a planning service does the app talk directly to that service's server (your church's ChurchTools address, or api.planningcenteronline.com) to load your services, run sheets, songs and charts. Your credentials go only to that service; the app keeps the access token it receives in the iPad keychain. We receive nothing. The service's own privacy policy applies to its processing.

Microphone and speech recognition (“Listen along”)

“Listen along” is off until you turn it on. It then analyses the singing through the microphone to follow the song. Speech recognition runs on the iPad only; audio and recognised text are neither stored nor sent to the internet.

Bluetooth and MIDI

Bluetooth is used only to connect MIDI devices and foot pedals. No data is sent to us.

App Store

Purchases, downloads and updates are handled by Apple's App Store under Apple's privacy policy. From Apple we only receive aggregated, anonymous sales and crash statistics if you agreed to share them in your iPad settings.

This website

This website is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (such as the IP address) to deliver the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). There are no cookies, no tracking and no embedded third-party services; the font is self-hosted.

Email

If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).
